This week’s CSA theme is CHIPS + DIPS — because sometimes dinner doesn’t need to be dinner. Sometimes it should just be a table absolutely covered in crunchy things, creamy things, fresh things, and a cold beer.

Nana Phyl’s Artichoke Dip

This one comes with a little history. Artichoke Dip is my Nana Phyl’s recipe, and she made it for pretty much every family get-together for as long as I can remember. You know that one dish that has to be on the table or it doesn’t quite feel like a party? This was ours. Creamy, cheesy, ridiculously simple and always one of the first things gone. Now it gets to make an appearance in your CSA box — which feels pretty special.

And to drink: Work Play Pils

German Style pilsner // 5.2% ABV

Because chips + dips demand a crispy beer, we’re including Work Play Pils. It’s exactly what you want alongside all the creamy, salty, herby goodness in this box: light, clean, crisp and refreshing, with enough hop character to keep things interesting. The carbonation cuts through the richer dips, the crisp finish loves salty chips, and it won’t overpower all those fresh herbs and veggies.

Our advice: Put everything on one giant board, scatter the herbs and edible flowers around like you know what you’re doing, crack a Work Play Pils, and call it dinner.

Welcome to Chips + Dips Week. No forks required.
